The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (Comedk), Bangalore has announced for COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) for the year 2018-19 for BE, BTech and BArch Courses.

Presently about 150 Engineering colleges, who make available around 20,000 seats, are affiliated to COMEDK and utilize its testing mechanism for effecting admission to UG Programme during the academic year 2018-19.

Duration of the COMEDK Courses offered:-

BE (Bachelor of Engineering) & BTech: 4 years; Not Applicable (Internship in year)

B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture): 5 years; Not Applicable (Internship in year)

COMEDK UGET 2018 Eligibility Criteria:-

Educational Qualification for COMEDK UGET

For UG Engineering Courses:

The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E. is second PUC or 10 2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject

For General category applicants should minimum 45% marks and for SC/ST and OBC applicants 40% marks of Karnataka State in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio-Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects.

For UG Architecture Courses:

For admission to B.Arch Course is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or similar exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects or a 10 3 Diploma approved by Central/State Govt. and having obtained minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka)

Applicant should appear for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 marks for both General Merit and Category students.

Note: Applicants seeking admission for Medical/Dental courses will have to qualify NEET 2018 and satisfy the eligibility norms prescribed by MCI/DCI, besides eligibility in English viz. for Gen Merit applicants 50% securing  & for SC/ST/OBC applicants 40% of Karnataka.

COMEDK UGET 2018 Fee Details:-

For COMEDK UGET 2018 is Rs.1200/- (For PCM)

For COMEDK AND Uni-GAUGE is Rs.2000/- (Tentative)

Fee payment for application is only through online mode via Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card. The fee is not refundable under any circumstance including judicial and statutory reasons.

Important Note:

Demand Draft (drawn from the nationalized banks in favor of “COMEDK” payable at Bangalore)

10th Marksheet/School Leaving Certificate indicating the applicant's Date of Birth (required for the date of birth verification) SC/ST/OBC or Minority Certificates (Religious/Linguistic).

If any Demand Draft has to be drawn from the nationalized banks in favor of COMEDK (check for the correct spelling), payable at Bangalore (DD must be payable at Bangalore only)

MBBS/BDS and B.E. application fees Rs.1200/- for 3 Subjects (PCB or PCM) i.e. MBBS/BDS or B.E and Rs.1500/- for 4 subjects (PCMB).
