Jawaharlal Nehru Scholarship Category
The scholarships are available for Ph.D. study in India to the following two categories of students:
(1) Indian Nationals
(2) Nationals of other Asian countries

Eligibility Criteria for Jawaharlal Nehru Scholarship Scheme
Educational Qualification
Applicants should have hold a graduate and postgraduate degree in science with a minimum of 60% marks from recognised College/University.
Age Limit
The candidate’s Age Limit should be above 35 years.

Price Amount of Jawaharlal Nehru Scholarship Scheme
Maintenance allowance including Tuition fee Rs. 18,000 per month
Contingent expenses for study tours within India, purchase of books, stationery, etc. Rs. 15,000 per annum.
