NEC Tripura fellowship Scheme 2018
The Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Tripura announces NEC Merit Scholarship, Tripura 2018 for students of Professional / Technical /Management / M.Phil / PhD courses. The scholarship aims at providing financial aid to students of North Eastern Region undergoing studies in various disciplines at a recognized institution within or outside North-East, but within the country.

Eligibility Criteria for NEC Tripura fellowship Scheme 2018
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have scored minimum 70% marks (for general) and 60% marks (for SC and ST candidates) in the last qualifying examination for diploma/degree/PG/M.Phil and PhD courses.
Family Annual Stipend
Applicants have annual family income below INR 4.5 Lac from all sources.
Award of NEC Tripura Fellowship Scheme 2018
The selected Applicants will receive stipend under this scheme as per the rates given below -
For diploma level course - INR 20,000 per annum.
For degree level course - INR 22,000 per annum.
For PG courses - INR 25,000 per annum.
For M.Phil/PhD - INR 30,000 per annum.
