Eligibility for Khyentse Foundation Translation Studies Scholarships, 2020:

  • The candidates applying should already have an experience in translation and should be enrolled in advanced degree programs like MA, PhD, or MPhil.
  • However, the applicants who do not fulfill the criteria can apply for other scholarship programs like Ashoka Grants in June or Buddhist Study in July.

Documents required:

  • The candidate should submit an essay describing yourself, your studies, and why you think that Khyentse Foundation should support you in a maximum of 400 words.
  • Letter of recommendation(three). One of his/her professors and two other academic references
  • The candidate should also submit a budget proposal.
  • Academic transcripts of the candidate's most recent year of study.
  • An academic paper or a one-page sample of translation, with a copy in the original language, should also be submitted.

  • The successful applicants of Khyentse Foundation Translation Studies Scholarships, 2020 will receive the amount of up to USD 5,000.
