DBT JRF Biotechnology Scholarship 2018

DBT JRF Biotechnology Scholarship 2018 is organized by the DBT in the Ministry of Science Technology, Indian Government. The Scholarship Scheme is for the Applicants interested in studying research in Biotechnology related areas. The Applicants can submit their online application form before 05 February 2018. The Applicants will be selected for the DBT JRF Junior Research Scholarship in Biotechnology on the basis of an online test named BET-Biotechnology Eligibility Test. The BET examination is currently being coordinated by BCIL-Biotech Consortium India Limited.

The Scholarship will be initially for a Duration of 3 years extendable to 2 more years based on performance. At the end of the 2nd year, the performance of JRF will be assessed and will be upgraded to SRF.

Eligibility Criteria of DBT JRF BET

Educational Qualification

The Candidate should have Hold M.Sc./ M.Tech/ M.V.S.c. degree with a specialization such as Agricultural, Veterinary/Animal, Environmental, Pharmaceutical, Medical, Marine, Industrial Food., Bic-resources Biotechnology, "Biotechnology, informatics" and Biochemical Engineering, Bio & sciences and M.Sc. "Molecular & Human Genetics" and " as well as B.E.JB.Tech. in Biotechnology (4-year course after 10+2) recognized by AICTE- All India Council for Technical Education/UGC-University Grants Commission securing at least of 60% marks for General & OBC category and 55% for SC/ST/P1-i in aggregate or equivalent grade).

Age Limits

Candidate should be minimum 28 years.
