HSCST Scholarship Programme 2018

Department of Science & Technology, Government of Haryana has given an information for HSCST Fellowship Programme 2018 from students pursuing M.Sc. or similar degree in Science subjects namely, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Engineering Sciences etc. The fellowship will be provided to candidates to carry out their PhD work in any of the universities in Haryana.

In order to attract talented and meritorious students, HSCST is offering research fellowships in Science subjects namely, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Engineering Sciences etc.

The fellowships will involve full-time research work leading to Ph.D.Degree in the relevant subject areas from any of the Institute/University in Haryana

Applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CSIR. Students who have to prefer for CSIR-JRF and have at least passed CSIR- LS NET will be selected on the basis of their performance in NET for carrying out their Ph.D. work in any of the University/Institute in Haryana.

HSCST Merit 2018 Eligibility Criteria:-

Educational Qualification

Students pursuing M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Science subjects namely, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Engineering Sciences etc. are eligible to apply.

Candidate must have obtained minimum 55% marks in the respective subjects.

Applicant should have opted for CSIR JRF (NET) and have qualified the eligibility test for Lectureship-NET in joint CSIR-UGC Test for JRF and LS (NET).

Candidate applying for the fellowship must not be receiving any other scholarship/fellowship.

Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age as on 01.07.2017 (Age relaxation of 5 years will be given in case of SC/ST/women/handicapped and OBC).

AGE LIMIT:-

Applicant should be age limit is 28 years.

Which is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes, Women, and Physically Handicapped and OBC applicants.
