Pre-Matric Fellowship for Students Belonging To The Minority Communities

Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme Aim

The Merit at pre-matric status will support guardians from belonging to minor communities to convey their school going children to school, lighten their economically/financial burden on school education and sustain their efforts to encourage their children to complete school education.

The Pre-Metric Scheme will be provided for studies in India in a government or private school from class 1st to class 10th, including such residential eligible private and Government institutes selected and inform in an apparent manner by the Union Territory Administration concerned and State Government.

Eligibility Criteria for Pre-Matric Scholarship

Educational Qualification

Applicant should have minimum 50% marks in the previous final examination and the yearly stipend of their guardian/parents from all sources does not exceed Rs.1 lakh.

Pre-Matric Scholarship Reservation for Girls

30% of Fellowship will be reserved for girl Applicant students. Whether the sufficient number of an eligible female applicant is not available, then the balance reserved scholarships may be awarded to eligible boy students.

Scholarship Renewal

The Scholarship, once provided, may be improved during next academic year of the course on the production of the certificate that the student has secured minimum 50% marks.
