Uttarakhand Pre-Post Matric Scholarship 2018 for SC, ST, OBC and Disability

The Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand invites applications for Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students 2018-19 from students of Class 1 to 10.The students residing in Uttarakhand and studying in an affiliated school within the state are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Uttarakhand Pre/Post-Matric Scholarship 2018 – For SC/ST/OBC/Disability: Social Welfare Department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag) has released a notification for Uttarakhand Pre/Post-Matric Scholarship 2018. The Government of Uttarakhand is providing Pre-Matric & Post-Matric fellowship for SC, ST, OBC & Disability category applicants. Applicant who are studying in 11th-12th class in any school of Uttarakhand & belonging to poor family, they can apply for Uttarakhand Pre & Post Matric Scholarship. Eligible applicants who want to apply Uttarakhand Pre/Post-Matric Scholarship 2018 must submit an application on or before 31.01.2018.

Merit Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have resident of Uttarakhand State.

Applicant’s category belong to SC, ST, and OBC.

Applicant should do post matric courses from approved university.

The applicant family income is not more than Rs.2, 00000.

The students must have passed class 10th from an approved Institute of India.

The scholarships are only for Indian nationals.

Should not avail any other fellowship from any other source.

Family Income

For SC Category Applicant

Students should not above than Rs.250000/-.

For ST Category Applicant

Applicant family income is not more than Rs.2,00000/- can apply for Scholarship of Social Welfare Department, Govt of Uttarakhand.

For OBC Category Applicant

The annual income must not above than Rs.1,00000/- (upto one lakh).

Uttrakhand Fellowship Application Procedure

Students who are applying 1st time for the Uttarakhand Pre/Post-Matric Scholarship 2018 have to submit new registration and applicants who had applied for the last year, they don’t need to submit New Application form, applicant need to renewal Scholarship form and summit some update details only. Follow the steps for new registration.

At first candidates must visit National Scholarship Portal official site i.e. www.scholarships.gov.in

After click on State Schemes which is present middle of the home page.

Next choose Uttarakhand state and click the appropriate link.

Uttarakhand Scholarship Advertisement will appear on your screen.

If you found yourself eligible then download application form and take hard copy of it for Pre/Post Matric Scholarship and click apply Link for Pre/Post Matric scholarship.

Then fill the necessary details and upload or attach Xerox of relevant documents along with your recent passport size photograph.

1. Qualification Mark Sheet

2. Recent Passport size photograph of candidate

3. Caste Certificate

4. Income Certificate

5. Bonafide Certificate

6. Residencial Certificate

7. Scanned copy of Application form.

8. Bank Pass Book Scanned.

At last send or submit applications on or before 31.01.2018.

Important Note:-

Eligible Students will get the fellowship amount via online transfer in their bank account by the concerned Samaj Kalyan Officer. This scholarship will be provided under the 5 manuals set by the Govt of India. Applications must be submitted before the last date of application submission which is 31st January 2018. No application will be entertained after due date by the Department.
