Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2018- GOA CET

The Goa CET 2018 will only be held for the admission in B.E. and B. Pharm Courses. The admission in MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Allied Health Sciences (Para Medical) and B.Sc. in Nursing Courses will be done on the basis of NEET. Also, the admission in B.Arch Course will be done as per NATA scores.

Other Backward Classes (OBC) - 27%

Physically Handicapped (PH) - 03%

Wards of Ex-Servicemen - 01%

GN (Parent/Grandparent born in Goa) - 02%

NRI Up to 05%

Important Dates for Goa Common Entrance Exam:-

GCET Declaration Dates: 11th September 2017

GCET Dates for Receiving Application Forms at Application Reception Centre: 01st week of April 2018

GCET End Date for Receiving Forms at Application Reception Centre and Collection Admit Card: 02nd week of April 2018

GCET Downloading Prospectus from Website Starting Date of 04th week of March 2018

End Date for Receiving Application Form and Collecting Admit Cards (with Late Fees): 04th week of April 2018

Date of GCET 2018 Exam: 08th May & 09th May 2018

Result Declaration expected Dates: 03rd week of May 2018

Goa Common Entrance Test Eligibility Criteria 2018
Educational Qualification for GCET

For B.Tech Course

Students must have qualified in HSSCE Exam from a recognized institution with minimum 50% for General and 40% for SC/ST/PH and 45% for PH in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS and AHS

For B.Sc. in Nursing

Applicants must have qualified HSSC with 45% for General and 40% for SC/ST in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, subjects

Age Limit:

Minimum age requirement is 17 years on or before 31st December.

Nationality:

The candidate must be an Indian national. NRI candidates can also apply but will be considered only for seats reserved for NRI category. OCI and PIO are also eligible for NRI seats.

Application Fee Process

Applicants can pay application fees is Rs.1500/- (last year) as the application fee along with the DD: The GCET 2018. Application Fee necessary to pay via DD in favor of "Director of Technical Education" at Panaji-Goa, on any Scheduled Bank.

Take a print out of the application form and submit the form in person at the notified Application Reception Centre according to the center provided.
