The National Law University (NLU) AILET 2018 Entrance Exam

National Law University, Delhi conducts AILET each year. The law entrance examination is conducted to provide admissions to B.A. LL.B (Hons.), LL.M and Ph.D. programs offered at NLU Delhi.

Important Date for AILET Entrance Exam 2018

Notification Start date-4th January 2018

Starting of online application-4th January 2018

Last date to submit the application form-7th April 2018

Declaration of Result (BA.LL.B (Hons.))-24th May 2018

Closing date of admission-25th July 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2018 Entrance Exam:-

For BA LLB (Hons):

Senior Secondary School Examination (10 2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2018 can also apply

Total Seats: 80 seats

10 seats are set aside for Foreign Nationals

Reservation:

SC - 15%

ST - 7.5%

Persons with Disabilities - 3% 

Kashmiri Migrants - One additional seat

Two supernumerary seats for students from J&K subject to approval of Governing Council; the applicant have to appear in the AILET and fulfill the eligibility criteria as applicable

For LLM (One year):

LLB or an Equivalent Law Degree with 55% minimum marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability).The applicants appearing in final LLB examination in April/May 2018 can also apply

Total Seats: 45

5 seats for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET (No. of seats may vary)

Reservation:

SC candidates - 15%

ST candidates - 7.5%

Persons with Disabilities - 3% 

For PhD:

LLM Degree with 55% minimum marks or its Equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability).

Age Limit for AILET Entrance Exam 2018

Applicant should have Below 21 years as on 01st July 2018 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates). Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying exam

Application Procedure for AILET Entrance Exam

Eligible Applicants can apply online for the AILET Entrance Exam 2018 through official website. Interested Candidates can they fill all details carefully through official website of AILET Entrance Exam 2018 official website http://nludelhi.ac.in

Note: Offline applications complete in all respects must be sent in person or by post, to the Registrar, National Law University Delhi, Sector-14, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078.

AILET Entrance Exam 2018 Application Fee:

Candidates can pay the application fee through online mode. The application fee is Rs. 3050/- (for general candidates) and Rs.1050/- (for SC/ST and Persons with Disability candidates). BPL candidates of SC/ST category are exempted from the application fee.

Candidates can make payment through a cash deposit at Post Office & online payment gateway of net banking/credit card/debit card.
